Meeting Kevin Sorbo last weekend in Orange County at the Lightspeed Fine Art Celebrity Charity Event. A genuinely down-to-earth and fantastic guy. I met lots of new folks, and saw some old friends too, but meeting Kevin was a highlight, as I admire his work greatly. Hm… wonder if he’d be interested in the part of Bill in the forthcoming (*cough* some day* Legend of Bill movie? ;-) Thanks, Sorbs!

Let the Vegas Star Trek con pix begin!

Okay, now that I am FINALLY assimilating back into real life, I’ve started going through my Vegas pix (lots of ‘em!) … and here are a few to start things off!

The huge Star Trek convention in Las Vegas was a great success. Had a great time, and much was accomplished, and saw many old friends, and made many new ones as well. Keep an eye out here for pix of the con. I’ll also post them in the Conventions Photos section at DavidReddickStudio.com to boot.

Next up: Dragon*Con! I’ll be there at the end of the month, and be heading to Utah for Mountain*Con a few weeks after that, then off to Orlando in October and then Indianapolis in November, and back to L.A. in December! Some great events coming up, so keep your eye out for pix, keep an eye out right here at LegendofBill.com, and on top of it all, I’m plotting actual site updates and re-building of things at DavidReddickStudio.com, my portfolio site, for a more seemless experience, as well as solid navigation of the varied Productions I’m working on.

Wizard World LA ’08 photo album!

OK, I cannot believe it has taken me this long to post some pix from my trip to LA for Wizard World LA back in March. All this drawin’ makes it hard to go through and size pictures!! But here are a few pix from the event, (I’ll post some more later, too if you wanna see ‘em!) where I had a table with the Roddenberry booth to promote my 2 webcomics I do for them “Gene’s Journal” and “Rod & Barry.” Enjoy!

A fan that I caricatured with his favorite lil’ borg… and yep, that’s Lou Ferrigno in the background… his table was directly across from MINE! fyi: He doesn’t laugh when you walk up to him and say “Hey Lou… you wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.” … especially after the 5th time…
