A June, 2008 rough sketch of the Dark Queen. Interesting how she’s *cough* developed over these years. Legend of Bill began on May 27th, 2008 (read the FIRST strip HERE). Can you believe we’re coming up on 4 YEARS? It’s high time to finish this book collection and get it out there. More o n that soon!

Sneek peek at how tomorrow’s Legend of Bill comic was done!
by David Reddick on March 14th, 2012A look at how an LoB comes to fruition for me. Left is a pencil on paper sketch set-up of a panel… the one on right is the final digital inks of the comic (done in Photoshop on my Cintiq 21UX). Nifty! Be here tomorrow for a NEW Legend of Bill!!
My uberest apologies for the lack of Bill this week, folks. Had an unplanned crisis last week, and it’s taken more energy than expected. I will run a guest strip likely tonight or tomorrow, and will resume our tale of Kohr and the explosive next LoB episode MONDAY, as I am back in the saddle. My THANKS to you, Billbarians, for your undying patience and understanding. We’re all family here.
In the meantime, please enjoy this sketch… little-known-fact: LoB was nearly a SCI-FI comic… here’s what Bill looked like before I decided on my fantasy approach, in the sketch phase!

See the first appearance of Vasheeva’s godmother, the Frost Queen Shiarra HERE!
From the sketchbook of secrets: A very rough, unfinished sketch of the Frost Queen Shiarra (Vasheeva’s godmother from the north)… hm… will we be seeing her in the future? And exactly what are the circumstances for her being Vasheeva’s godmother? And what does any of this have to do with anything? Hm… (If someone would be so very kind as to post the link to the strip she appears in, I’ll paste it in here) *(YES, we’re working on a titled/dated archive system, btw!)*
