Playing with helmet ideas in the sketchbook for the varied ones Bill keeps trying on in the last few strips… this one imagining Kruul (minus all the hair) in a lil’ helmet too small for his whoppin’ head… for my fellow process geeks out there, Pilot Precise V5 on Canson’s “Esquisse” sketchpad!

Current LOB News: New strips every Monday and Thursday, “Fan Art Fridays” on Fridays (when I have ‘em in the hopper – so send ‘em in if you’ve done a great Dark Queen, Gina, Bill or Frank!), “Side Quests” guest strips on Saturdays (when I have ‘em in the hopper!) Also, Legend of Bill will also start running on GoComics.com starting March 16th – LOB goin’ mainstream! Legend of Bill is now also at Wizards of Ur, and of course part of Tall tale Features! Huzzah!

Was doing some quick, rough sketching as a break during my nightly work, literally only moments ago from this very post, and created a whole lil’ storyline based on this husky barbarian dude to the right, “Kruul.” Look for him soon.
Ah, the tales of mystery & wonder that bellow forth from within the hidden, blank-paged depths of the magic tome known only as ”The Sketchbook,” singing their distant elven songs of goodness upon thine soul like a beacon of newly-minted sunshine shamelessly licking the face of your imagination!
