Okay, gang – apparently there’s a secret video the Roddenberry’s put up. I’m not sure how long it’s been there, but this was leaked to me earlier today. If you’re an old-school gamer, there was a game called Kontra and a cheat code for that game that granted infinite lives. If you put this code into the comic site about young Gene Roddenberry (http://www.genesjournalcomic.com), it will load a classic interview between Gene Roddenberry and William Shatner that’s about 7 minutes long.
The interview is great and it’s wonderful to hear Gene’s voice again. apparently this is a secret cause there’s nowhere on there site where this is posted. one of those, “if you discover the secret things…”
the code is: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, enter. put that into your keyboard and check out the secrets

It is with great sadness that I heard from the Roddenberry family that Majel Barrett Roddenberry passed away yesterday morning. I had the great privilege of sitting almost right next to her at the Roddenberry booth in Las Vegas at the big Star Trek convention this past August. A truly sweet and wonderful lady. Emphasis on “lady.” First Lady of Star Trek… is truly accurate.
My most heartfelt condolences to my friend Rod, Majel’s son, and all the rest of the extended Roddenberry family, which, to me, includes all of us Trekkies.
As most of you know, I create 2 webcomics, among other things, for Roddenberry Productions, so this is especially sad, and I am especially thankful to be part of this family.
