A fun page of random doodles I just finished up the other day… love packing in lots of nooks and crannies into a stream-of-consciousness sketchbook page.

Kevin Vassey brings us a new TGS! This is from last Sunday, but I’d been gone to a convention and unable to post it properly, and my back-up didn’t work out! New strips this weekend, and LoB will resume soon! Details below in forthcoming blogpost! – David
“Red Shirts” card game on shelves nationwide!
by David Reddick on July 9th, 2012Was out at my local gaming shop over the weekend with the kids, and you can imagine my joy at what I saw on the shelf. My and Jonathan Schwarz’ new “Red Shirts” game has taken off like gangbusters, and is now distributed through the website directly at WeaselPants.com, ThinkGeek.com, Roddenberry.com, and through Alliance distribution as well as other fine distributors to gaming shops nationwide, and soon… the world! Check your local games shop, and if they have it, grab it! I did all the art on the cover, and all 100+ cards, and there’s a nifty Legend of Bill ad on the inside box cover to boot.
We have more games in store for you, so watch this space. Gaming art is something I’ve always wanted to do, and this is really exciting. And yes, the idea of a Legend of Bill game has indeed come up in conversation. What kind of game would YOU like to see? Cards? Board with pieces? Etc? Sound off!
From the sketchbook: Shiarra the Frost Queen!
by David Reddick on April 28th, 2012Sunday means it's time for The Gnome Syndicate!
by David Reddick on February 6th, 2011Kevin Vassey brings us another hilarious episode of The Gnome Syndicate, (I laughed out loud at this one) and be here tomorrow, yes, MONDAY for a GLORIOUSLY DOUBLE-SIZED Legend of Bill! HUZZAH!!
Sometime back, Zuda-winner Brock Heasley of SuperFogeys asked me if I’d do some character designs for a then-upcoming “SuperFogeys Origins” tale he wanted to weave, as well as direct the art… we held a contest right here at LoB.com and SuperFogeys.com to see who would win artist duties and it was a lot of fun! While I ultimately didn’t art direct due to time, I did do a few character designs, and my good pal Lee Cherolis wound up winning the artist position on it, and man, it is something to be proud of. The tale has been told, but I was looking over it again and wanted to throw the link out there for you to check out, as well as Brock’s strip in general, which is a real gem, and of course Lee’s excellent work to boot, of which you will not be disappointed. Go check out “SuperFogeys Origins” starting with the first page, and just hit “NEXT” to read the story! I believe it’s in 11 parts. And here are a few of my initial character designs for a new character and a younger Monica that I did for it!
