Another new strip while we wait to wrap up the Vasheeva storyline. I wonder if Bill or Frank will ever realize that they could carry some food with them?
Until we wrap the final 10 strips of the long storyline, please enjoy these NEW good ol’ Bill and Frank strips! Once the long storyline is wrapped (Thanks to Steve Ogden and Jason Williams), it will be back to basics, back to fun, back to ADVENTURE! HUZZAH!
ok… taking a break from the storyline wrap-up that the great Steve Ogden had been working on (and he and Jason Williams will soon resume to wrap- it up) – please enjoy this interim Legend of Bill strip, to fill in the gaps and feed our souls!
P.S. Yes, I miss you all. I will explain EVERYTHING very soon, my Billbarians!
I’d say ‘poor Gork’, but he did this to himself, so instead, I’ll just say ‘good luck with that’. Showing my age maybe, but is anyone else flashing on Bob Seger’s ‘Night Moves’ on Gork’s last line? Yeah, probably just me.
This week’s colors, as usual, by Don ”Chromaticity King” Kuehn, who, as you already know, is amazing at this stuff, and a super-hard worker, capable of every part of this comicking process.
In other news, this is my last strip for The Legend of Bill. I have been honored to fill in for Super Dave Reddick since October 2013, trying my hardest to imitate Dave’s style. Lemme tell you, it’s not easy for me, and he makes it look SOO easy. It’d be easy to hate him for his amazing talent if he weren’t such a nice guy. But it’s time for me to get back to my own projects now, and I return the strip in the oh-so-capable hands of Dave and Don.
Come say hi sometime.
Merry Christmas, everyone! Today’s installment, as usual, was colored by Don “Jingle Brushes” Kuehn, the wizard of colors, Yuletide or otherwise.
Thanks for sticking with us through a challenging summer and fall. Here’s looking forward to a fantastic 2014! In the coming year, we hope you live the life you want, work on the projects you love and love the people who are good for you. And when in doubt, ask yourself: What would Bill do? (And then, you should probably do the opposite!)
See you next year.
You know how sometimes things go really well and everything is popping along just like you want? It was like that for Gork once, but it is so not that way now. He’s already in hot water with Vasheeva and now Gypsy and Foztik have caught up to him. Now, if only the cave can collapse on him, his day will be complete.
Colors as always by Don “Speedy Chromalez” Kuehn, who knocked this out of the park even though the inks came sailing across his desk super late (*guilt* *guilt*).
Take care, and see you in seven!
