Please hit “back” twice for part 1 and 2 of this tale, and news on what’s happening in the Billverse!
Published author and comic artist Steve Ogden has been a dear friend to Legend of Bill from the beginning. He was heavily involved in helping me out with the Lob comic book, issue #1 (the only issue thus far), by way of helping with story for a comic book format tale (which I will be publishing here soon to keep you satiated – it has never been on the site, only in the book! You’re gonna love it!) as well as this fantastical tale in the form of a short story, and we all love a good fantasy book, no?
So here’s the skinny on what’s happening at Lob Central: I have news regarding Steve’s continued involvement with LoB. Steve will be taking over writing and art duties on a new tale, (and you are gonna LOVE his writing and art, trust me) while I am indisposed with another few rather large projects that are keeping me away. His tale will last through the end of the year, which I’m very excited about. Will it be a derivative of the current story line? A new tale? A continuation? Wait and see! It’s coming. Also, Don has been laying out work on some LoB publishing venture we’re working on and is awaiting my cover art as well as some inside fun sketch filler work, among other things. There’s more, but those are a few things on the docket. We are always here, even if we’ve been remiss, which is entirely my fault, with new work. But you, Billbarians, are ever so patient and kind. We love you.
And now without further ado, please enjoy Steve’s 3-part short story “All in a Day’s Work!”
Hot off a weekend (well, Saturday, at least) at Gen Con!
Billbarians… FRIENDS! fear not, friends. I am working in the background on things to get on track for you. Don and I are discussing LoB plans and doing some reorganizing on various fronts. We have got to monetize LoB somehow, with your support. We also are setting in place some form of system to keep the ship rolling. We will not let you down. We just need your patience and understanding. You know we love you. We haven’t done it for the money up to this point, but rather, the comradery that comes with every single one of YOU and your sharing of this world. I would love any of your suggestions on monetizing and building LoB. Anything. Lay it in the comments. I literally read every single one, as they come to my e-mail directly the moment you comment. I will pipe in too. As will Don. – David
