Hey Billbarians! Sorry for the delay, but some difficulties from this weekend are slowing me down. Until tonight though, here’s a teaser image for you to check out! Thanks for the understanding.
Fear not Thursday’s color version of The Gnome Syndicate is underway, just been busy lately taking care of some other stuff. Not to fear I am working on it and will have it posted later this afternoon.
Until then, here’s a preview of the mostly colored version of the first panel.
Kevin has drawn a super, fantabulistic, ginormous action-packed, special effects laden, more than worth the wait strip that will be posted late on Monday night for all your enjoyment. But, to make sure you have something to tide you over before that superlatively enhanced strip sees the web, I was able to dust off an old sketch that David did way back in 2008! Does anyone remember this sketch??
Hello Billbarians! I’m glad to see that all is going well at the Wet Gill Tavern. Thought I’d drop by for a pint of mead and a quick visit to say hi and let you know what I’ve been up to. As promised, I wanted to update everyone on what’s been going on, I’m sure there are a few of you out there who have been wondering Well, wait no longer as I’ve created my very own webcomic over at Oddlyaroused.com. It chronicles the adventures of a professional Cosplayer by the name of Sonya Crimson! Her adventures are just getting started and they promise to be fun, exciting and full of hilarity. Drop by and check out all the strips at www.oddlyaroused.com and come by the facebook site at Jim Collins Art and like my page. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces! – Jim
Yes Smurfs have returned to the website, as a few of you have noted. We’re working on flushing those little buggers out, but man can they hide in all those little hard to reach places!
I’ve talked with Jason, and we’re going to rerun his latest Barwench Tales again on Saturday because it was posted late and many probably didn’t see it before it got smurfed.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I see a couple of those little blue $!@&+*/ hiding behind the main Heisenberg compensator.
Billbarians! I am PROUD to announce that this coming Monday, starting Sept. 22, our very own Kevin Vassey (LoB’s The Gnome Syndicate) will be taking the reigns of Legend of Bill EVERY MONDAY! Working from my plotlines, Kevin will be writing and completing the Storyline that is nearly complete, and bringing us back to basics with good ol’ fashioned LoB IDIOCY! Gina! Frank! Vasheeva! Sir Lance! Kruul! It’s all fair game! Kevin will also be continuing with The Gnome Syndicate every Thursday.
But wait, There’s MORE! Jason Williams will be returning to Barwench Tales regularly every Saturday!! Don will be coloring BT, and our schedule is BACK ON TRACK! I owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to these guys and to YOU, dear Billbarians, as I am knee-deep in Garfield-land by day (I work at the Garfield studio for those who may not know at this point) and with my King Features DAILY syndicated (to newspapers and online HERE) comic strip “Intelligent Life,” and I just can only do so much, but the LoB family is strong and we’re rolling back into action, right where we need to be, and I could not be happier, because these guys really KNOW LoB’s universe and bring a truly genuine quality to it all, which is important to me.
I will be behind the scenes on everything, and our very own Don Kuehn will be coloring ALL strips – LoB, BT and TGS! Let’s hear it for DON!
And please let’s all give the most excellent Jim Collins a real round of applause for such a great run on Barwench Tales! Jim did a great job, and I’m very proud to have had him being part of it, and Jim will always remain part of the LoB family, and you never know, you might see him back here and there for some art and fun! THANK YOU, Jim.
Now… let’s get BILLBARIC!!!
Yours Barberically, David
