Whoa! What’s this? Shiarra and Sarah – TOGETHER? Jim Collins writes and draws a new guest strip for us bringing in Sarah from Barwench Tales, the comic he does for us right HERE on Saturdays! THANKS, Jim! NICE!
Cue the warm oil pit!
Please tell me there is a part 2 to this comic coming up
I’ve got 2 bits, a slightly-used candy wrapper, a nice piece of string and a small wad of (mostly) clean lint in my pocketses.
If the rest of us chip in, perhaps we can commission a snowball fight. Which should be followed up by a steaming hot soak in a hot spring. Followed up by a feather-pillow fight. In silk nighties.
i am NOT complaining. GGA FOREVER!
nicely done jim. just the right blend of trash humor we’ve come to expect from LOB!
Wow! That must be the best catfight ever… even the gladiatrixes of ancient Rome will be envious.
Sarah could totally take Shiarra in a catfight.
I’d have to back my girl Sarah in a physical fight, but Shiarra has that whole “Sorceress” thing going on, so that would give her the advantage in my opinion.
But then again, how many sorcerers and demons did Conan vanquish with only his brains and his brawn??
I’d be interested in other peoples thoughts on it..!
the betting tables at Lumbutton Gambling House, gives the following odds
Sarah is a favorite to win at 3 to 5 odds
Shiarra is a underdog to win at 8 to 17 odds
Lumbutton Gambling House isthe gambling center on LoB world. It was established well over two hundred years ago, during the reign of Solomon the Ruthless.
In a catfight, I think it would be anyone’s bet. Shiarra has definitely shown that she can swing fists as well as sling spells, Sarah on the other hand, has some sort of special forces/assassin training, plus bar wench experience. However, if it comes down to sword vs. spells, I think that Shiarra would more than likely win. She’s been around for a long time and has seen her share of the action.
I’d tend to agree with you Don, but Sarah has tons of spirit. She’d be like Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke; you could beat her down, but she wouldn’t stay down.
ah don, the odds were computed based on the lack of tattoos on the blue lady. without her tattoos, Shiarra was seen as vunerable.
besides, sarah came prepared to the match. the referee had removed a sledgehammer, meat cleaver, knives, and a frying pan from sarah.
Damn..my bad! I think I wanted Sarah to win, so I conveniently forgot Shiarra’s tattoo’s, so Sarah wouldn’t be at a disadvantage
don’t think I’d mind getting in the middle of that fight……….probably wouldn’t survive…..but still
Would you people be quiet?!? The fight’s about to start!!!
And Ganyon and Warrix, quit bogarting the popcorn and pass me some!
I just realized, right now Sarah appears in *all three* current strips on the site.
You can always mark the truly wise mage in the story. Never misplaces his Ever-Full Bowl of Popcorn, just for occasions such as this,
David! DAVID!!! The asylum has taken over your nuthouse!!
Please, don’t do anything about it. Just thought you might want to pull up a chair.
and a beer. battle of century
Hey, save me some popcorn!
Until just now I had not noticed that Ganyon and Warrix were in the picture at all. My eyes were busy looking elsewhere.
Ganyon and Warrix in the background just made my day.
Did anyone bring beer?
maybe, just maybe, this column will attain over 50 emails. just like in the early days of LoB
Gotta ask.. Is that Warrix, is that actually Fosdik (or however you spell his name…) instead? only asking because from what we’ve seen of Warrix so far is “tall dark & gruesome”, whereas this guy is “tall GREEN & gruesome”…..
Cheers & Thranx
Warrix’s dorky grin amuses me to no end! XD
His grin is almost scarier than his usual megalomaniacal leer
Lovely weather for bikinis!
Just an update: I’m going to send David a revised strip with Shiarra’s tattoos and without the spelling mistake. So keep checking back if you’d like to see how that turns out.
Is it true that David uses his wife as the model for all his female cariture
