Jim Collins brings us another guest strip featuring our favorite sexy (and Jim nailed the sexy!) lil’ wacko vixen, Sarah! I think Jim really knocked this one out! Let’s give ‘im a big thanks!
I don’t know John, considering that in Jason’s first strip Sarah put a stake through some poor dudes heart and that she makes seasoned warriors cower in fear at the mere mention of her name, I’d say she’s a pretty tough cookie to begin with
Making her “look” tough was intentional. I wanted her to look like a warrior reminiscent of Red Sonja or Conan. The lone warrior battling a horde (although my version is hardly a horde) is an iconic image.
Here’s a couple of examples to illustrate what I was going for:
We missed Sarah. Thanks for bringing her back.
Nice stuff Jim. Keep it up!!

Sarah’s pencil is mightier than a goblin’s sword
YAY!!!! Thank you for giving us another fix. (Lemme guess though, this one is free, but the next one is gonna cost?)
Thanks so much everyone! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
You can’t keep Sarah down for long. She’s kinda relentless that way
Relentless is exactly the word for her.
If anything, you’re making Sarah look tougher and meaner than ever.

Look tougher, not be tougher. Useful clarification.

Y’all don’t have to go home, but y’all can’t stay here!
“…and steppin’ over th’ broken glass, the Irish jig was born…”
I always wondered how the jig came about. Now we know; from an plucky Irishman avoiding last call
