No, what explains her skimpy outfit is the lurid imagination of the cartoonist, plain and simple.

If she can’t intercept him without her magic, and he absorbs magic, that suggests there is some reason that her magic is not something he can simply absorb.
I get it now. Vorik, the night, Vasheeva’s betrothed is a conduit of magic and can increase magic’s intensity. Warrix absorbs magic. So Warrix would benefit from having Vorik around because he amplifies the effectiveness of all types of magic. Vorik is like steroids for Warrix’s magic.
