Oooooooo K. Well, now, I have about a thousand speculations runnin’ through my head right now and I really need to focus on getting ready for a major shoot tomorrow.
.
Thanks Dave! >.<
A ridiculous scheme came to mind. Now Shiarra and Giles can copyright and trademark everything they’ve seen in their own time, and then sue them for copyright and trademark infringement when they return…
It’s funny that you mention Disneyland. One of Congressman Bono’s last actions on this planet was to push the “Mickey Mouse Protection Act,” as it was sarcastically called, which drastically increased the length of time that early 1900s copyrights are extended to.
So, someone who copyrighted something in 1930 still has the copyright of
Admittedly, we don’t know how far in the past that Shiarra and company are, but if it was 80+ years in the U.S., Giles and Shiarra literally could copyright common things today and come back and sue the companies that currently use those copyrighted materials.
Let’s keep in mind … The gypsy that Shiarra knows is not necessarily the one we know. Our Gypsy had a grannie who taught her that flashback spell. At one time Shiarra only knew of one gypsy who could pull it off. There may well be more than one now … or perhaps the descendant of the original is the Gypsy that Giles has experience with.
Interesting reveal: Giles didn’t go on that ride voluntarily, as implied by his words this day. He was caught up accidentally in the backwash? What strange fate put him at the exact moment and place where he would “interfere” when so crucially needed.
I believe I’m ready for another round of doubles of everything, Pixie. When you’ve got a moment, would you flit by my table with a couple of trays? Make sure a Pan Galactic Gargleblaster is on the first tray and the second one is on the last tray. Need to get my gray matter saturated with Thinking Juice to noodle out all these twists.
Shiarra’s about to open up on some things? Well, it’s about time SOMEBODY did, because every time you promise that, you take us off into another direction before the Big Reveal. You can’t even show some skin in a Big Reveal (not that I necessarily want you to, contrary to almost everyone else around here) before very quickly leading us off elsewhere on another tangent.
Agreed. There are enough tangents and sub-plots going on that I’ve honestly forgotten the last known status of several main characters. By the time the story works its way back to them, I doubt I’ll care any more. If this trend continues, I don’t think I’ll still be reading this comic by the end of the year.
Thank you for your comments, Billbarians. And Johanan and Scott, I appreciate your thoughts. I agree with you. There are far too many sub-plots happening. This jumping into the past will rectify a TON of them. My goal is to wrap up a LOT of the sub-plots happening and get back into a more basic groove. During my little time off, I wrote quite a bit of material, and have the course plotted to achieve this. So stick around… answers and resolution await, i promise you. While the new development appears to be another sub-plot, it is actually a final end to many things, and a way to get things settled. THANK YOU for your loyal readership and feedback. I LOVE it and appreciate YOU ALL!
*GASP!* No friggin WAY!
Way!
no way!!
WAY!!
…..*NO WAY* …..

Now this is getting really twisted
Sent back to the past. What a gyp! (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

BINGO!!!
And just how would they pay themselves? By going… I dunno, to Disneyland?

I blame you, David. Oh, I blame you …
