oh this is going to be so one sided now its not even funny craven going to be hurting that imposter. now that damper is crushed..
do we get to say see next Monday for the spell slinging fight to end all fights and , hell maybe bill will go nutty when we find out the boss that coming is going to shut down craven..
How about book 3: Everyone RUN! The Bumbler Cometh!
Book 4: Ummm… Ooops??
Book 5: OOOOOOOOOPPPPPSSSSSSS!!!!
Book 6: Ooopsie.
Book 7: What?! AGAIN????!
Book 8: What’s This Do?
Funny thing about Bill … at this stage of his development, he lacks the subtle capacity for “kidding.” But, remember folks: so the Bill giveth, so the Bill taketh away. No telling what he will step on or trip into in the next 30 seconds …
I’m thinking … fireworks are upcoming. Don’t think I didn’t notice that little ‘snap’ in the final frame. “Craven (formerly) on the Wall” should not have wasted his breath on a punchline … too much like monologuing. I’m very curious to see if C’thall is actually “evil,” or just an alternate player, perhaps even a potential ally ..?
David: every single installment for months now has been a nail-biter. Outstanding work! Don, I’m beginning to take your coloring work for granted. Trying to slow myself down enough on the updates to savor all the details. Today, I still can’t stop wincing in pain over the convincing contusion you’ve managed.
In a certain way, that’s actually a compliment. I’m kind of like the set decorator, wardrobe manager and makeup artist. Color provides a look and feel that the line art by itself doesn’t convey. It’s just like those old BASF commercials, “I don’t make the line art, I make the line art better”.
I probably won’t need to be coloring bruises on Craven much longer, I’m sure that once he gets free and takes care of C’Thall (one way or another) he’ll magic away those bruises.
David, Love how you have two versions of Craven, and they look completely different while being “twins.” You have done such a good job showing character in the lines of the faces. C’Thall looks like a teenager while Craven looks in his 30′s.
Craven didn’t need the amulet smashed to use magic… He magically switches black eyes in panel 4, and switches back! …and switches the fold on his tunic.
Mirroring panels for better flow has its disadvantages, I guess.
So now I have to search the archives to find out just when the ol’ switcheroo occurred. But that certainly accounts for “Craven’s” contact with Gen. Fozdik of all people. One mystery out of ten gazillion solved…
Woopsie! I guess beeing clumsy sometimes work as advantage and what kind of moron leaves his most precious thing in a cloak and then drops it on the floor?
No, barring proof to the contrary I don’t agree with y’all. The “Craven on the wall” doesn’t look “evil” to me, merely “drawing on his Shadow side”. Our senses of humor largely draw upon a part of our unconscious minds which is more apt toward negative than positive use and this circumstance tilts Craven there. At the moment he reminds me of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury when he’s suddenly gotten one up on an otherwise hopeless situation.
Bill the accidental luck is strong with you!
“Lucky IS good.” Stargate Sg-1, season 9.
Heh–get him, Craven (the “good” one, that is)!
Bill, you wonderful idiot…

The “oops” strikes again! (Hey, that would be a great title for LoB book…)
I like!

The “First Book of Bill: Ooops!”
And, “The Second Book of Bill: Ooops! I Did It Again!”
*LOL*
LIKE!
(These would be great book titles by the way
)
Those would be great titles!

While I love the titles, I don’t think Britney (got) Spears would like the second one much.
I don’t like the look on Craven’s face on the last panel…
I like it. It’s kind of like “yeeeessss, I can do something now!”
Me neither: he looks like quite evil… :/

I get the feeling that C’Thall will soon be looking like Craven.
3X,
In a certain way, that’s actually a compliment. I’m kind of like the set decorator, wardrobe manager and makeup artist. Color provides a look and feel that the line art by itself doesn’t convey. It’s just like those old BASF commercials, “I don’t make the line art, I make the line art better”.

Never put your devices of power on the floor where people can step on them…

Good catch on those!

Score one for the Klutz.
Woopsie! I guess beeing clumsy sometimes work as advantage

Sometimes being a klutz is a good thing. Yeah…let’s go with that!
This looks like a job for STUUUUPOR DUCK!
Or at least Stuuuuupor Bill.

“Like, why do you look all baldy and alike and stuff?”
Does going Billzerk halve his working I.Q. afterward temporarily?
I think that’s pretty much Bill’s normal IQ. No halving needed.
“Stupid: thank god!” – Tiffany from ‘Unhappily Ever After’
Interesting then that the same type of jewelry is on Bill current clothes.
