Jason WIlliams brings us a new Barwench Tales!
The guy on the left is using the guy on the right’s bad manners to get Sarah to…
Angle? what angle??
It seems a very sharp. downward angle.
Murder by Sarah … ingenious! I’m ashamed I didn’t think of that one myself. Of course, one would always want to leave a quite generous tip, also …
he gets rid of more enemies that way.
I notice that he ordered a salad….
Seems to me that Sarah’s “dream job” would be something like the Japanese “Revenge Society.” She could get paid to make life even more miserable for people than her customers.
She has changed a bit as i have got more comfortable drawing her…..but her skin color is from the same pallette almost from the beggining…oh and i think she has actually gained wait over the lat year…LOL
thanks guys!!!!! love the attention and comments
Comparing Sarah in today’s strip with recent weeks, I can see that she has put on a bit of weight (all in the right places, Sarah!). A couple of weeks ago she was fantastically wasp-waisted. Personally, I like today’s physique better.
However, as several people have noticed, her skin color in today’s strip is definitely jaundiced rather than the robust healthy color she usually has. Was this perhaps a color mapping problem in the transfer to the web page?
Sarah seems to have the exact same skin color of that woman in the adventurer party two strips back. It’s also different from the hand that grips the chair, although that could be lighting or the deathgrip ;D
Anybody else notice that the more Jason draws Sarah, the skinner and more witchy she looks? Not only psychotic, but bulemic, I’m thinking.
What *I* notice is, that her skin starts turning strange colors: deathly pale, sickly yellow, Baywatch tan, etc. Sarah’s my favorite gal in the Billverse, but it’s as if Kevin doesn’t WANT us to find her attractive!
I agree. Looking back through some of the earlier cartoons, she’s changed a bit.
What’s really scary is how much Sarah reminds me of a girl I had a crush on from 8th to 11th grade…
“Who ordered the can of whoop ass?”
Yosemite Sam and the King: “Where’s my lunch!? Where’s my dinner?! Coook!”
And he didn’t even have to bribe her, that’s the ingenious part.
I enjoy these Barwench Tales, but it looks like Sarah’s come down with a case of jaundice in panel 3… are we about to have a ‘very special episode’ about alcoholism and liver damage?
Yes, Sarah definitely has a jaundice cast to her in this one, unlike the healthy robust skin color of past weeks.
Possibly a result of her co-worker trying to poison her? It’s not like her co-workers haven’t tried to knock her off before.
I think that her skin tone looks yellowish because of the background colour, since Jason says he’s using the same colour for it as always.
Nope – check this recent strip: http://legendofbill.com/2012/06/16/barwench-tales-48/
Or go straight back to the first strip. She’s way more yellow now that she should be.
