I wonder if that is for “crimes” like crimson for red, or azure for blue, or yellow for canary?
How’s this for a hypothetical?
The crime: coloring the sky orange and the sea purple— sentence: one afternoon of having to listen to Sarah the Saracen expound to customers about life and ten pence. (Whack! goes the gavel.) Prisoner screams for mercy as he’s dragged away…

Oh…..My…..GAWD! I love love love this! So many things I see here. I see smurfs, a dragon, Some of the Gnome Syndicate, boys from Dork Tower, A pyratical eye patched pixie, and a wanted poster of a certain wizard!
“DQ loves Bill” and a copt of JRR Tolkien’s ‘The hobbit” were my favorites on this page~
Wherever you got that image for your avatar, I love it. It makes me believe there’s still hope for manga/anime yet.
So is Miss Keebler in Playbarian magazine? Those googling/popping eyes on the cover are great. It’s hard to read, but is that “Miss K”? No doubt she’s a model in Ellf Magazine, demonstrating magic makeup compacts that double as communications devices.

Old Crazy wizard? Why, you speak of none other than Fizban the Fabulous!! A very powerful wizard (when he remembers his spells). Of course, it was just an act, as you said above, it was really just Paladine in mortal form.

This was a LOT of fun to draw. You can thank DON for suggesting it. He tossed the idea to do something like this and I was like ‘YES!!”. I told him it was his own fault for all the detail he had to color.

Yep, you’re almost surely an ENFP trying to mess with another ENFP’s head.
Nobody (so far as I’ve read) has mentioned the dragon yet, and the hole looks very recent for all your excuses,
so my present hypothesis is “the dragon did it”. He may also have broken the table where the two Gnome Syndicate members are still sitting, as his tail is nearby…

It’s quite literally one of the greatest chapter closers I’ve ever seen. First off, there are so many hilarious details that you have to just keep going over it with a magnifying glass, with as many inside jokes as there are canon gags that fill in the story!
It most certainly wraps the latest story arc up tight … but the genius of most of the gags also performing double-duty as foreshadowing. Lancelot is on the scene, the Gnome Syndicate CSI Team is putting the forensics together. DQ ♥ Bill …. my only nit-to-pick is the absence of a narcoleptic horse sleeping on a snowbank in the background. But don’t let me nag you on that. 
You’re telling the tale & there’s no telling where that horse is at right now.

Where do I start? Frozen orcs, punk fairies, people still drinking while stabbed, Smurfs, snotty knights, Playbarian, and gratuitous guest appearances? Only having Sarah in the center would have made it better!

You are correct Darkmyste! The orange flame in the skull is my little tribute to Bob from The Dresden Files. Bob is an air spirit/magical construct who helps Harry Dresden with magical research. In the short lived tv series (1 season on SciFi – darn writers strike) Bob was changed somewhat to be a wizard who was cursed to haunt his own skull, but still helped him.
