Hello, Billbarians – apologies for the late posting of TGS, and the late post of LoB (coming tomorrow) – Technical difficulties (no internet!) prevented the posting of TGS. Enjoy Kevin Vassey’s Gnome Syndicate strip today and we’ll see you tomorrow with the next Legend of Bill. Huzzah! Happy Monday! – David

Awesome!
Yeah, this would have been a serious mind-blowing wrinkle for LoB! LOL
It takes an awful lot to actually kill a dragon. Don’t believe everything you see in Hollywood movies.
However, you can injure one and very seriously piss it off.
Kevin, I’m going through a significant portion of my popcorn budget on your strip. It’s unfolding like a long-form tai chi chuan story, inevitable and beautiful and powerful all at once.
I’m rather curious here if there’s enough Gnome & Pixie magic to heal him (or her?) … and, if that’s a Good Idea or not. Or needed.
One of my favorite books along those lines was Dragonsbane by Barbara Hambly. “to save a dragon is to enslave a dragon” A surprisingly touching a well-written story. Recommended for all dragon-lovers.

While it looks awful, what do you bet that the dragon tells Gnome and Co. what is going on?
That was my very first thought. His greatest threat to anybody right now is as a witness.
Rule #1 of Dragon Slaying: Make sure that the dragon is actually dead!
Rule #2: If he isn’t dead, kill him again.
I keep thinking it’s a good thing we weren’t around to see the mayhem. A dragon that size beat up by a goblin… even if the dragon lives through it, it’s going to humiliate him and his descendents to the third and the fourth generation.
Hey gang,
I’m glad y’all are enjoying the story so far. I know it’s moving slowly, so thanks for hanging with me and riding along.
