Take note my friends, Gnome boy is up to something and it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if Frank let loose with a fiery blast of … well, something. Hopefully he’ll at least sneeze!

i thik its time to break out the spiced rum… now pixie, i case anyone tries to intervene with the fighting , we can sell the goblin meat as dragon burgers…
Simultaneously one of the funniest and one of the more gruesome mobs of charging goons I think I’ve ever seen! Go Time! indeed … What rollicking adventure story ever existed without a good, Olde Fashion Tavern Brawl?
If Giles is attempting a Befuddle spell on that goon directly in front of him, I think there’s a 50-50 chance it will end up raising his IQ. I see a signature Band-Aid making an appearance. I’d suspect all that Shiarra has to do is touch that goblin on the end of his pointy nose and the entire cast will become an ice sculpture within a nanosecond … but, then, why waste a good opportunity for some real mayhem?
And, uh, yeah …. really needs to be a desktop. Can we haz, puh-leeeeze ..?
Thank you, Don! that would be lovely. No hurry. I’ll get it whenever it shows up.
I’m always a fan of it being done right before it gets done fast. I’m always partial to 1920 x 1200 resolution because I can always resize if I need smaller. But, I still have a 3:4 monitor I run at 1600 x 1200 … so, I’m not too picky, other than the current panel that’s up is a bit smallish to really appreciate all the details.
I’m lovin’ how even Shiarra’s tats are glowing with energy. Somehow I’ve got an urge to fire up a Sir Mix-a-Lot tune. Wondering why …
Reminds me of an old Gallagher bit where he tried to describe why God gave men nipples. “It’s as if God said, ‘If you had them, they’d be right here and right here.”
Projectile weapons should be the winner at anything beyond melee range.
High-powered lasers, could they be diverted/combated? It’s just light, after all.
*squee!!!* YES! Kick Orc Butt!
She’d better heat up (er, chill out?) her counterspell a whole lot faster than THAT if she’s going to do so.

i want my beer
pul-lease
freakin Brilliant….Desktop!!! Why Yes Please
You couldn’t manipulate the graphic yourself?
Oh, right, my laptop might not have the EPIC resolution you work with.
Where one starts is all.
Tom Tooth definitely believe in stepping on others in order to get to the top.
Lots of nice little touches, such as that Band-Aid(TM) on Tom’s knee.
a bandaid on the leg …. thats what he gets for rushing when he’s shaving his legs for battle. cute, JR.

3X and Jason,
I’ll work on making a desktop background this week.

Those orcs look awesome! And I like the slight watercolor effect on their skin and background.
Thanks for noticing some of the finer details of the coloring. I think that the textures add a richness and depth to the overall look of the strip.
The fact that Shiarra’s Runes are glowing is a nice touch, too.
i too enjoy the way Don has made the color white an actual color in this painting. whiter than white. needs sunglasses for villains eyeballs to see.
lets rock and roll.
Six toasted orcs in 3… 2… 1…
You mean Orcsicles, right ..?
And, I believe it’s a mixed party of Orcs & Goblins, if memory serves me from General Fostik’s encounters some number of strips back.
Hmm, yes… I suppose it would be Orcsicles at that!
Sort of like the flash-freezing process used at Birdseye or Smith Foods…

now… that is what should appear in the dictionary next to the word “Epic”… btw, love the look of the Red Shirts game! (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/games/ee4b/)… Kudos!
WHO’S THE CREAM PUFF ……… NOW?
Doesn’t look like most of them care, TC, especially Tom Tooth. Ah, the bliss of the fatally ignorant.
make a care to the town’s undertaker. the scout troop is going down.
need EDIT button. change CARE to CALL
make a call to the town’s undertaker. the scout troop is going down.
I think Ice Queenie should make them into her minions instead of wiping them out.. Who knows, she might need a mindless army to go up against Warrix?
If I were in Shiarra’s place, I’d want an army smart enough to know what it’s doing (and to revel in a job well done, too).
How about Sarah and Jenni for her combat team? A SAW or M-60 or a mortar?
an interesting concept. introducing guns and explosives into the world of magic and demons.
wonder if bullet holes would stop them. be fun trying a bazooka (and i dont mean the bubble gum)
