To celebrate my seeing the most awesome movie of the year, the Avengers, and LOVING it, I’m re-posting my Cap’n ‘Murica sketch.
Go see it. BEST. ENSEMBLE-CAST. MOVIE. SINCE. STAR. TREK or SERENITY/FIREFLY.
Seriously. Two thumbs way up. Excellent story. Great characters. BIG movie. Excellent plot on the heels of the past Marvel movies, particularly Thor. If you haven’t seen it, SEE IT!! Marvel is really knocking them outta the park with these movies and staying true to the comics. I grew up with. and yep. There was Stan Lee’s cameo. YES. 
Thanks for the recommendation! The trailers alone have been excellent, my favorite so far being taken from early in the duel between Thor and Iron Man (from the looks of it, as cheerfully without sensible cause as most such battles between Marvel heroes are):
THOR: ::: hits Iron Man with lightning :::
JEEVES: Power now at 400%.
IRON MAN: How about that…
Let the battle begin!
That expression is great. He looks like he’s been tapped on the noggin with mjolnir.
And as if his fat cells have hulked out.
LOKI: We have an army.
IRON MAN: We have a Hulk…
Good thing it was Captain America that put on weight instead of Iron Man. I don’t know how Iron Man would fit into his suit.
