Thank you, friends, for your comments and e-mails. It’s been a bit of a tumultuous few months for me, particularly last week, personally. I hate missing updates, I know how it looks, but thank you for understanding that when life happens, in addition to it, I am balancing 4 other comics, work in animation, illustration work for publications, on top of a day job that also works in all of these fields and more, and most importantly, being a father, which is my primary task. LoB is my labor of love, and I am so forunate to have you all here with me, and with Don, Jason and Kevin. It makes me no money, but is something I do out of sheer love and need to do it artistically, and I am honored that you value it enough to be here checking for it, and to even get frustrated when it doesn’t update. Rest assured, life is smoothing, and we’re about to take a great ride in the story of Bill, Frank, Kohr, Princess Gina and the Dark Queen. And let us not forget the many loose threads dangling out there (for a purpose)… the mysterious Gypsy, General Foztik, Warrix… and so much more. LoB will be here, even when things happen. THANK YOU, my friends, and fellow Billbarians.

In all seriousness, (I know right?!) speaking strictly for myself, I love that you love doing this enough to continue to do it for us. You are also one of the two creators/artists that interacts so completely with his audience out of the 7 or so web comics I read. THAT makes the difference and makes me, for one, come back. I would miss you and Don and Jason and Kevin if I didn’t. I consider all of you friends (except for the troll or two I’ve had to destroy) so it’s more like coming to hang out at someone’s place for me.

We can wait even for a year if it’s what is needed.
We’ll always have Par .. ehm, Bill, even if it’s something we’ll deeply miss (I am not sure I made myself clear, but anyway …).
