     @don don’t you mean #14, #12 is just for the smell.. but 14 is for the odor that can make you become comatose and get rid of those green clouds and leave your feet and footswear smelling like spring water..{wait does spring water smell}

   That or the leather is treated with something nasty, like our pressure treated lumber? (Chromated copper arsenate.)

   Remembers me to my time in the army. Taking off the boots after a long day out wasn’t always a pleasure. Especially if you worked in a bunker like me and it get’s even worse when the whole crew had the same idea!
