You know, it’s funny you mentioned this, because I was thinking the same thing. Wouldn’t it be funny if Khor was all like “I must thank you Blue One.” Or some such thing.
Uhhh….not to put too fine a point on it but I don’t believe The Joker (Good Ole Jack!) Ever says to Batman (Michael Keaton) “I made you the warrior you care call me father” I believe the line is “You IDIOT! You made me. Remember? You dropped me into that vat of chemicals. That wasn’t easy to get over, and don’t think that I didn’t try.”
To which Batman later says (In the tower during the last fight scene)…
Batman: I made you, you made me first.
The Joker: Hey, bat-brain, I mean, I was a kid when I killed your parents. I mean, I say “I made you” you gotta say “you made me.” I mean, how childish can you get.
This was when the Batman movies were actually good and didn’t have Christian IHATEYOUWITHTHEFIREYPASSIONOFATHOUSANDSUNS! Lispy Bale in it.
*Blink* Damn it! Why didn;t someone tell me my geek was showing?!
Good ol’ Bill, such a smoothy. He sure knows how to win friends and influence people — NOT!
I love Frank’s expression in the third panel.
That’s the exact same thing I told David when I sent him the strip.
Good diplopmacy there, Bill.
That’s so cute. Bill’s helping.
true bob hope comeback.
loving it
Agreed!
True.
Winston Churchill did those types of comebacks, too.
Oh Bill…dear sweet adorable Bill. Run Frank!
Well, if Frank made him the man he is today, shouldn’t he thank our little blue friend?

reminds me of the line of jame earl jones to arnold in conan. i made you the warrior you are, call me father
again when JOKER/jack nickleson confronts batman, i made you the warrior you are, call me father.
so kohr calls frank = father ????

Well, sometimes that happens so fast there isn’t time for a warning.
Yes, that’s it, Bill–finish you and Frank off…
As they are both barbarians, it may be taken as a compliment.
What!?!
It could happen! I’m just saying….
Oh, well-played, Bill! Well played, indeed!
Wait a second….. ‘Eye’ see what you did there. :O
Seriously tho. I think I understand what’s going to happen in the near future. Oh my…..
My brain is spoon-feeding me spoilers from the future.
Just how did Sancho Panza put up with Don Quixote!?
He generally tried to stay of the “knight’s” way as much as possible.
Sometimes the only thing more dangerous than a question is an answer. (Does Bill get any points for giving a truthful answer?)
Only if those points are negative.
