     Nab, I don’t think that she’s doing any transmuting. One of two things is happening here: either she’s trying to identify the owner with some sort of visual magic, or there are some powerful wards that she just triggered that take on the shape of the enchanter as a warning. Just some wizardly theories to ponder.

       I was being silly. The process and the results reminded me of what happened in one of those old Warner Bros cartoons. The genius kid is working with his “Tiny Tot Chemical Set” and Foghorn decides to play with it and blows himself up. I haven’t a clue what she’s actually checking the feather for…

     I remember that episode!! Foghorn grabs the test tube, gives it a shake and says “Let’s watch it fizz”. It of course explodes, and Foghorn no longer needs the widow’s love to keep him warm for the winter, he now has plenty of bandages.

   hmmm, I thought the latest for this was her, saying wow that’s some powerful dragon magic or something along those lines. the 1st panel was a bunch of smoke, 2nd panel her figure seen through the smoke, 3rd panel her stating something about dragon magic… or did I time travel?
