Thank you, thank you, Dave & Jason! Have we seen the Dark Queen Vasheeva before? I've been following LOB for a little while and don't remember this character. Certainly will look forward to future renderings.

Very nice! :-) I grabbed the unfinished version you posted on your website from back around May and have using that as a wallpaper for a while ... keep switching it with the Sarah as a buccaneer sketch all in pink.

I love all the extra details that have been added. I'm sorta playing a game of "What are all the differences?" like in the old Sunday funnies.

If I may be so bold as to offer what I intend to be constructive commentary, a couple of the changes make the older, unfinished version more functional as a desktop wallpaper. The addition of sunlight is cool, but (combined with the gold text in the upper left) it brightens the image a lot. I do a lot of my work in a room with lower lighting, which allows me to reduce the brightness of my monitors and thus reduce eye strain. The additional brightness makes this version more difficult to use during the evening, so I'd probably switch it for daytime use only. The addition of the red border with a white trace doesn't help (me) since I use a very dark background color, usually black or a green or blue that is barely a shade off-black.

And, cropping it tighter with a bit more detail added in takes away plain and dark margins where I stash my desktop icons. The only places left are on part of the door and the upper right ceiling. No big fails or anything ... just one person's feedback. Still love it and have added it to my LoB & Barwench Tales art folder.

Thank you! :-P
