   Or (ahem) someone significant? So far, it looks like he’s grown older, taller and crazier. I like him shorter, oldish but young at heart, and at least apparently sane.

     Don’t forget that it’s been a long time since the last time we saw him in the comic and a lot of crazy stuff has happened since then.

   Knowledge of the deep, dark arcane mysteries of the universe tends to do that to a guy after a while. If you want to stay sane, you should have become a fighter. Fighter good! Me hit things with big stick!

   lol, actually I haven’t drawn Ganyon in so long this was my initial take. He is changed a little, but *should* he crop back up (and I bet he doessss) he will be more consistent with his former self… or will he? bwah ha ha!

     If I had to guess, I’d say its been about 2 years since Ganyon was introduced and nearly as long since we’ve seen him.

   I was distinctly under the impression that you had Don Ganyon chained to a copy of photoshop in some dark corner of the ‘Netz and enchanting the Billverse with colors.

   I like this take on him, BTW. There’s a bit more character to him in this, rather than being just some sort of “generic wizard #17 – another Gandalf clone” template.

   Since we already have (very strong) hints that he has been around since before the origins of the Dark Underlord, and he clearly seems to be in opposition to him, it is not entirely beyond possibility that he might have been a captive at some point. Being tortured by Warrix could very well leave a slightly crazed glaze to anyone’s eye.

   Perhaps Warrix even attempted to consume him at some point …. nothing personal. Just hungry, y’know? That would have been a pretty epic fight, maybe even worthy of a side-arc/backstory, leaving a pretty addled and shaken Ganyon slowly recovering for a few decades and just now coming back into the conflict again.
