National Free Press cartoonist MJ, sends us this whoppin’ guest strip featuring Bill and Frank, and this is only part 1! Enjoy,, and keep an eye out for Part 2! Thanks, MJ!
Note: I will be returning to the storyline soon. Many thanks for your patience, Billbarians, and thanks to the guest cartoonists who have been helping me out!

SHEMP! The best of all stooges, The Reluctant Groom is my favorite Stooge flick of all time.
Francis Jamres Hogan – Thanks for reading!
Excellent job, MJ!
David, Love the commic…… I’m finally caught up
Pedersen – Thanks huge for the support! I had a great time creating this strip!
Love the shadowy figure peeking out the door. I’m looking forward to part 2, and seeing if said shadowy figure plays a part.
Bold move, using Shemp instead of Curly.
My dear Marj, with all due respect, NO one compares to Curly.
Hoomi – It’s only fitting to add small touches in the guest strip.
Marj – I just find Shemp an odd lot.
Sagg – I would of used Curly, but Shemp just turned out more recognizable.
For me the best part of this panel is the detail on the cross guard and hilt of that sword.
Johanan – I really couldn’t go into a whole lot of detail. I just do way too many features currently that need to be done on deadline.
Hey, that’s cool. I figured there was a good reason and believe me, given that I’m preparing to give a major seminar at the end of the month in addition to all else I have to do, I know exactly what you’re saying.
sweet ambrosial
You did an incredibly wonderful job, MJ! Very impressive!
This one made me giggle. Good Job!
It amazes me how different Our Bill can look but still be recognizable.
Tennessee Charlie – Ha,ha,ha!
George – Wow, Thanks for the kudos.
Pixie – I appreciate the kind words.
happy you figured out the blacksmith joke
shemp is my favorite stooge.
looking forward to PART TU
David Reddick – Thanks for the exposure! I really appreciate it!
Shemp huh? Well better than Joe Besser I guess.
Greg – Ha Joe Besser. I should of used Joe as he was from my hometown, but thought I should actually use the original line-up that was The Three Stooges.
Nice work, MJ! Reminds me of the 3S short “Fiddlers Three”, where Larry, Moe, and Shemp try to shoe the horse…
Shemp?! Curly would have been a better choice. I can hear it now, “we’ll just tell them it’s a bread knife, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk….”
Insectoid – Thanks for the kind words.
Ji2m – Curly was an obvious choice, that’s why Shemp was incorporated into the strip. Ha! A bread knife!
I guess it should still be ok. After all it’s not the size that counts it’s how you use it.
Thamks for swinging by and reading Tony!
