* Gnome 12 occassionally makes a report to The Gnome Syndicate Headquarters… TGS being the watchers of this realm, in league with fairies, elves and more. Read his FIRST REPORT HERE.
* See Miss Keebler in “The Gnome Syndicate” Sunday comic HERE. (Thanks, Kevin Vassey)

If someone can grab me the link to the first Gnome Report from November, I’ll toss it into the main text! thank you!
OMG you guys! This is getting so good! Will we ever find out about what happened on that “faithful” day? Do we get to see Lil Bitty Bill some more? Can’t wait to see what happens next!
*chills the bottle of Trader Vic’s!”
Surely we will learn of that ‘fateful day’ … someday. I don’t think Dave is quite that insidious that he would reference something he never intended to divulge.
Thank you, Pixie, honorary LoB barwench #1! Yes, you will see more of lil’ Billy… and you will witness, possibly, that fateful day, one day.
And Tim, yes, I am that insidious, but you are correct in that I put EVERYTHING in the strip for a reason, and everything eventually gets resolved at some point, or, more likely, more complicated!
I love this. Great stuff Dave & Don!
/me runs to the library to see if they have the 4th Book of Thann handy…
OK, I am TOTALLY lost in trying to search for that back copy of the Gnome Update from November. This is where an index would be most helpful. >.<
I love how young Bill looks an awful lot like little Gene from, you know, that other comic.
Yes, it is fascinating.
P.S. Duck Amuck was one of my favorite Looney Toons!
You can still find it on YouTube – in different language dubs!
I agree with Tim, an archive section would have been quite helpful.
Nevertheless, here is the link to the first Gnome Report: http://legendofbill.webcomicsonline.com/2010/11/22/the-legend-of-bill/
Young Bill reminds me of the young version of the hero of french comic book “Lanfeust de Troy”. He has got the same look, you know, the one which say “I may look and act totally stupid but I will save the xorld one day… Oh, by the way, my other ride is a dragon!”
Barbarian hello from France
In rereading my comments from then, I may have accidentally stumbled onto this split personality storyline way back then, and I quote, “Ya know on second thought, Vasheeva really wasn’t all that bad until Vorik screwed her over. Maybe Bill could be getting the best of both worlds in her?”
Interesting, Tim… verrrry interesting…
If I did stumble onto this, it was by pure accident. It’s not like I’m an idiot savant or anything. Idiot, maybe, but I digress…
One other thing, I love the way the forums allow us to actually track the conversations now. Well done Dave!
Paps – I’ll need to check that out! And thank you for the kind words! Merci!
btw – THANK YOU, Paps, for the link. We’ll get a searchable archive by month in here soon.
Last panel: Is that a gnome on the horizon watching the gnome in the foreground?
There’s a pointy little… something in the last panel which isn’t present in the first panel, and I’m pretty sure it sits on the head of no one’s idea of “eye candy”.
yep it is ! the blue hag gnome
Johanan, you have a very astute eye. Who watches the Watchgnomes? Ah, yes…
And who watches the Watchers of the Watchgnomes?
And is it Watchgnomes all the way down, if you follow me…?
Love the new website, particularly that the three comics are divided onto different pages so that they’re not constantly interrupting each others’ stories.
Thank you, Michelle! We’re quite proud of it! Still working out a few minor bugs, but almost there.
Some (myself included) have complained about black type on slate gray background, but now that I’m writing on my second computer I find that much depends on one’s monitor settings. I can read the threads very clearly on this laptop, less clearly on my primary laptop.
I would miss the eye candy, too. The quality of Gnome 12′s work went down a notch.
Frank hasn’t grown much since childhood, has he?
Bill, on the other hand…well, his body mass has gone from his head to his torso.
Remember that dragons are a long lived race, and therefore grow slowly. The picture of Bill and Frank may only be about 15 years old, in which time Bill has grown significantly, and Frank not so much. Also, we don’t know Frank’s age, but he’s quite young yet for a dragon.
Close Don! Bill is about 21 years older than he is seen in that pic.
And you nailed it on dragons. And on Frank’s growth. This issue of his size will crop up in the future.
So Bill is almost 30 and Frank is still a bebe Dragon? *squee*
Wagnerian barwenches go “squee”?
I’ve learned something new today! Thank you, good sir.
So they have physically disappeared. Interesting.
I LOVE your comments, folks.
See above – I love being able to address your individual comments now. Yay LoB 2.0!
Wow, there’s so much going on here! Hmm…isn’t Vasheeva supposed to have a black streak of hair like Gina has her pink streak of hair? Lil’ Bill looks sooo cwute!
And my boy the gnome is a dirty ol’ gnome!
P.S.: Yes, I deliberately misspelled “cute”. I wanted to BE cute with the misspelling!
It’s Adorkable!
Flash Back time!!!
Bet we will see Lil’Bill Butt naked!!!
excellent
