Lords of Light! Demon Dogs! I finally finished my Thundarr the Barbarian sketch in ye olde sketchbook in my own style… in hopes of a re-make like THIS! ;-) I loved 80′s-era cartoons like Thundarr, Dungeons & Dragons, He-Man, Mr. T, Galtar, Dragonslayer (based off the video game), Transformers, G.I. Joe, and so on… there was a colorful, slightly-overly-dramatic-story-telling-at-times-mixed-with-humor-and-bright-fun-visuals and often sort of an “epic” music track that just made it FUN! These qualities influence Legend of Bill as well for me, as do many of the older Hanna Barbera, Filmation and Ruby*Spears cartoons. They were full of storytelling and visuals that didn’t take themselves TOO seriously, yet somehow got under our skin, stayed with us, and at the end of the day, actually had a real backstory tucked away inside the characters and world they inhabited, and it’s my hope that Legend of Bill, will, over time, have this same type of effect (as it already does for me!). :-) Now… Ariel! Ookla! RIIIIIIIDE!!
