Well, considering they are about to enter the frozen wastes as the season turns to winter (just who is their travel agent, anyway?) … all that decomposing roadkill (Billkill ??) might actually be warm. AND provide tasty snacks along the way.
I wouldn’t have thought a dragon would be so squeamish, but Frank might have become contaminated by grown accustomed to civilized amenities.
I think Bill skipped a step or two (or all but the last one: wear the pelt) in the pelting process.
@ SAGG- Yes, but it depends on the butt-to-animal size and weight ratios. The smaller the animal and the bigger and heavier the butt, the more likely that animal is dead. Having really bad gas might also work.
heheheheheh! Frank, Frannnkkk! take that business elsewhere, you don’t want to contribute to global disasters….somebody get that dragon to the pond! …and Bill, just because you can sit on creatures….doesn’t mean you should.
This one kinda reminded me of an old Farside comic. There was this jungle tribe guy out in the woods who catches some guy sneaking outta the woods wearing a trench coat stuffed with all kinds of wildlife, tails hanging out of the sleeves and many extra legs protruding outta the bottom of the coat. with a line to the effect of : Hey young man put those back where they belong.
Since man cannot live on bacons alone, today’s award is … Pancakes of Superpower. >^+^< Cheers, guys!
@David — Well, it occurs to me (now that you mention it) that there are a wealth of webcomic/comic animal characters eligible to become fashion ornaments.
I do soooooo triple-dare you to deck Bill out in a Garfield-skin vest … I think the orange tiger stripes would suit his look quite well.
Barbaric you say ..? Perhaps not barbaric enough. But, it’ll do. It’ll do …
That’d cover all the major ones off the top of my head, since you restricted the suggestions to webcomics. Although, maybe Gypsy might look festive in orange tabby stripes … you could always claim it’s supposed to be Heathcliff, if you catch heat for it at work ….

Are you kidding? Frank’s been the only really civilizing influence on Bill so far. Methinks he was born (more or less) civilized.
This is HYSTERICAL! I literally LOL’d.
The fact that he doesn’t even consider skinning them just adds to what makes Bill so charming and endearing.
And Frank is so darned adorable!
The colorings are frantastic! Love the Purple Majesic Mountains in the background.
Geez, that’s one large (And very ticked off) bunny!
Just don’t get him thinking of the lizard skin footwear look.
It occurs to me I should have drawn some of my pal Mike Witmer’s Pinkerton Park characters in there! HAHA! (www.pinkertonpark.com)
That’s way beyond animal rights! What a fashion statement!
And that statement is…..”HURK” right Frank!?
Careful Bill, I don’t think that any of those animals are dead, just stunned and perhaps a wee bit ticked off…
Does anyone know the joke about the bear asking the rabbit if ‘poo sticks to his fur’? Let’s hope it’s not true in this case!
@DadaHyena – I remember that one!! LOL
Nor indeed the slightly disgusting one about sheep and elephants…
Can sitting on an animal actually kill it?
@ dadahyena — seen the sci-fried.com version “The Wookie and the Ewok?”

Bonus — those little critters also provide Bill with additional armor if he gets into a tight scrap! Poor little guys…
This is just plain good ol’ funny!
@ Dada…I LOVE that joke! I tell it all the time.

@3X – ROFL!! A Garfield pelt!!
@kittencontinues – Would those Pancakes of Superpower include chocolate chips?
I want panny cakes!
And bacon….lots and lots of bacon. In fact, can I substitute the panny cakes for more bacon?
Ha! Thanks, gang! LOVE the comemts as always! So – send me your ideas for animal webcomic characters asap! Just put em here – I have an idea… thanks!
The entire cast of http://www.missmab.com/ ..? OKay, too cute; that’d be mean. Most of the cast of http://www.2kinds.com/ Hmmm. Same problem. Again, Felicity from http://www.thedreamlandchronicles.com/ or someone from http://catenamanor.com/ … just plain mean.
We’re going for barbaric & badass, need source that’s got a tough skin … Oh, http://www.brokenplotdevice.com/ (Maxine, Sid, Inix, or Sylver ( who deserves it!)) &/or http://www.poisonedminds.com/ (in particular, a certain psychotic, Anarchist rabbit comes to mind). You could pick on a certain fire-breathing lizard from http://www.1977thecomic.com/
Sabre-toothed kitty from http://www.soulgeek.com/comics/zona/ ..?
That’d cover all the major ones off the top of my head, since you restricted the suggestions to webcomics. Although, maybe Gypsy might look festive in orange tabby stripes … you could always claim it’s supposed to be Heathcliff, if you catch heat for it at work ….
The goats from BratHalla.
