Continuing the adventures of that painfully unloveable crazy barwench Sarah (from the main timeline some months back (someone fetch us a link!)), humor mage and new LoB Saturday scribe Jason Williams (Jason, tell me what class of hero or villain you wanna be and it shall be done, by the power of Greyskull, although I’m afraid I inflicted the class of “wizard” on Don Kuehn, with no option to roll again or pick a different card, lol) brings us a freaking hilarious Saturday comic today!! Thanks Jason!

A (semi-)regular Tales of Taverns & Ale Houses? Oh-hell-yeah!
I’ve worked more than a buy of services sector and have deep psycho-foo experience w/ nutso customers. Sarah’s world has gotta be 100x worse, what with Smurfs & pixies & gnomes (oh my!) habitation’ randomly about the place.
Great strip, Jason! Glad to see more of these show up to help flesh out the Billverse! Thank you!
May I just say: that last post of mine brought to you by the predictive text “function” of my Droid. And the unfortunate proximity of the “Submit Comment” button to the text entry box.
I’ve worked more than a bit in the service sector … and I have nightmares about Smurfs & pixies & gnomes cohabitatin’ randomly where I have to work. NOT that there’s anything wrong with that … hey, I’m all about alternative lifestyles … it’s the collateral cHaOs I’d rather not be subjected to.
I do not find Sarah to be unloveable. Her kind of crazy is that which is inflicted upon her by her surroundings. I suspect she’s actually quite bright to be so frustrated by teh stoopid.
When you roll the dice again to determine Jason’s character class, I suggest Jester as a possibility.
ok david, i think that i can totally see myself as a jester! i am waaaaaay to short to be a barbarian, and slightly taller than a hobbit..LOL so the dice have spoken….a jester it is- and thank again for letting me play in you sandbox!
I love these, but not as much as the main comic.
I look forward to Sarah’s tales.
This, I believe, is where we first meet Sarah (as consistent with David’s current Facebook graphic):

This, however, is where she finally snaps:

Oh, BTW, David:
1) When are you going to upgrade your Web page?
2) WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO RE-INTRODUCE (AND THEN N-A-M-E) THAT NARCOLEPTIC HORSE???
(ahem, ‘scuse me)
Brilliant! She would not be out of place in the immortal Broken Drum in Terry Pratchett’s Ankh-Morpork giving the broken-nosed and blue-0chinned clientele a warm hearty welcome and joining in the nightly pub brawl with some gusto. (Have you read any Discworld, David? recomended).
How much do you tip on a glass of water?
