Agreed, Johanan, my thought visually was that Frank might’ve back-fired in passing. Magic beans take their time working their way through the system.
First time poster, I just wanted to say thank you to David and Don for bringing Bill and the gang to life, they bring me plenty of laughter and smiles with their antics.
I also wanted to thank guest artist Jason for helping Bill and Frank to do what Gargamel never managed to!

I never really bought into Smurfs being good eating. I would constantly be using their houses to make some excellent Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza.

@Samsonguy — I was thinking that if Bill was hungry, he might have picked & eaten the mushrooms, not necessarily noticing the crunchy filling. He’s already eaten worse when traveling the wilderness.

If being threatened with Smurfs is enough to scare a gnome, I don’t think I want to know what happens to you if you destroy a Smurf village.

Kinda interesting to see the world from the Smurf perspective (panel 3). I have to wonder how they became malicious instead of perpetually terrified. Maybe there’s truth to the rumor that short folks overcompensate.
But wait! Where’s the GNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!!!?
I’m going to have to guess that “Gnome 12″ (or any depiction thereof) is a David trademark and therefore may not be shown in any shape or form in any guest strip lest you want to suffer the wrath of David’s lawyers (which are imbued with Vorik’s magic[1]) – Or getting stuffed Franks being thrown at you.
