Next Episode: Monday, Sept. 20th! Sketchblog updates DAILY! And – FAN ARTISTS! I’m looking for some Dark Queen fan art to put up through Spooky, Halloweeny October! Show us your tricks and treats and draw the Dark Queen all spooky and sexy-like, and if I get enough, I’ll run ‘em outside the usual Fan Art Friday and we’ll have some serious Halloween eye “candy” to get us through October!! I’d love to see YOUR take on the Dark Queen Vasheeva! (If you need reference, look back through the strip, or I can post something in the blog if you need it!) To get us started? I have Dark Queen drawings by none other than two of my best (and among the most talented) webcomics gal pals, Gisele Legace of Menage a 3, and Barb Jacobs of Xylia Tales, both of which I will post over the next 2 Fridays!

She doesn’t need to threaten to cut Bill… as someone with fair skin who has suffered more than a few sunburns, I know all she needs to do is threaten to slap that burned skin. Ow Ow Ow!
And now we are three again. I think the team has needed a little an infusion of estrogen since Gina’s departure. I think that Bill and Frank’s banter works better with someone else to play off of.
I like the coloration of the gypsy’s hair and Bill’s (un-sunblocked) skin. Nice job.

Hee hee, Gina and the Dark Queen are going to flip when they see her adventuring with Bill and Frank, especially if she doesn’t get herself a quick wardrobe upgrade.
Good call on Frank’s part about the Barbarian quotient of the party going up with this latest addition.
@Rock – Don’t worry about her hair, remember that cartoon characters are very resilient and bounce back from adversity fairly quick. I bet that she’ll be back to normal soon and Bill’s sunburn will be gone as well.

I am a little confused. The last comic seems out of place as they were in the pond, confronted by the gypsy, then suddenly out of the pond without her around. Then this comic has them back with the gypsy, which I assume is not long after the tent burnt down. So did they just walk away from her, have that chat, then she caught back up with them?
I’m probably readying into this too much, but stuff like that bugs me for some reason.

Something other than hot pink might be a bit more discrete, traveling through the wilderness, searching for a Dark Lord & hoping they find him before he finds them. It does, however, give me a sad to think that they are going to have to gear up for cold weather. I definitely noticed the first leaf of Fall, and have not forgotten they are th everge of entering into the lands of the Frozen Wastes.
I’ll just place my faith in their Creator to come up with something or another that is both practical and offers a nice touch of fan service.
I wonder how many people are all gonna hit this town on a shopping spree all at once ..? It could go down like Benny Hill meets the Keystone Cops. Smurf!
