Johanan Rakkav:
There is a series of books called ‘The Dresden Files’ by Jim Butcher (I recommend them).
The main character Harry Dresden has previously had an encounter with an otherworldly supernatural creature (think great old ones etc) called “He Who Walks Behind”.
A junky on a street drug called ’3rd eye’ that gives you horrible clairvoyant visions says that line when he meets Harry at a police station.
@Kat & 3X – Yes the quote is taken from the Dresden Files.
For all the rest of you who haven’t read any of The Dresden Files, what are you waiting for? Harry is a wizard living in modern day Chicago who investigates things that go bump in the night. I think that with the release of “Changes” it brings the total number of books to 12. The books form a long continuous story that I must admit have kept up way later than I should be during the week, hihgly recommended.
Also, you can view the 12 or 13 run tv series that was on Sci Fi on Hulu, unfortunately, it was one of the many victims of the screen writers strike from several years ago.
Love the cards, and LOVE the Dresden quote!
OK, I was wondering about the quote… would someone mind explaining it to me? Pretty please with Dragon Fries on top?
Old_Crow & I took a shot at a couple of them in the forum, and Don was kind enough to feedback on some of ‘em.
I came up empty no this one, though. I thought it might be a line from a song, but am awaiting further enlightenment.
I’m thinking that these quotes may well be a really fun spice for the final version. Sorta adds a pop-culture Trivial Pursuit spin to the gameplay.
Pretty fortuitous that this card was handy to post on the update of Vorik showing up in Gypsy’s vision into the past … a Dark Omen, indeed!

Ahhh … I’m gonna suggest it has something to do with these:
I’m not familiar with them, but I want to be, now,,,

What am I waiting for, __Don__? Uh… trying to finish writing my own first speculative fiction novel?
Truth, unadulterated. Writing to you guys is one of the few comic reliefs I get in my day.
