In the LoB forum we were discussing a Legend of Bill card game, and our very own colorist extraordinaire, the wizard Don Kuehn, made this mock card to show us what a LoB card could look like… BRILLIANT! I HAD to share. Thanks, Don!! I think this is a card every player will need to have in their deck!!

Yes! You should totally make this.
Ha,ha,ha! That’s outrageous.
A most powerful card… rather like one of the Egyptian God Cards in Yu-Gi-Oh. (And no, I am not going to reveal how I know about THOSE.
)
@David: “I think this is a card every player will need to have in their deck!!” What good would that do??? Only female characters can use it…
Wait a minute. Why in the name of all sanity am I even DISCUSSING this?
I wonder if it shouldn’t be ‘Schtuppified’ (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=schtup for the uninformed)
=)
Yes you should make the deck!
LOL! Johanan, that cracked me up. Agreed! LoB card game – is a must! Fingers crossed… and watch this space!
Notice, male characters can wear them, they just can’t use the “Hike” ability. Bill in Swirly Boob Plates… frightening!
Which part, David? The part about the Egyptian God Cards, the part about the utility of the card, or the part about the insanity of the whole concept?
Anyway, I’m looking forward… out of morbid curiosity… to seeing what happens with this concept.
Ok yeah I would totally buy this! And yes the “Hike” ability DOES work! Corsets may be a pain in the patootey but WOW. Talk about a stacked rack….
@John – Nope. It’s a reference to Lil’ Abner’s “Stupefyin’ Jones”, comic that’s a little before my time. I worked on set design and the lighting crew for my high school’s production of it many years ago.
@Kenneth – Bill in Swirly Boob Plates is indeed frightening – http://www.legendofbill.com/2009/02/23/hotness-levels-rising/ – the Carmen Miranda fruit hat doesn’t help much either.
must get hands on card… must get Stupidfied!! Oh, there are so many ways a Legend of Bill card game could go… it could be a co-op game much like Shadows of Camelot or Pandemic or it could be a battle type game like Settlers of Catan or the board game Small World… the possibilities, as they say, are endless… excited!!
@Don Kuehn: Howdy! I was just wondering about what part cracked him up. If it wasn’t anything I said, but rather that quip on the card – oh, well, better luck next time…
I was wondering where I’d heard of Stupefyin’ Jones, and now I remember – she’s from Lil’ Abner! (“A little before your time” – come on, if you’re from the 20th century, it counts in this case!) A citation from the Wikipedia article:
Stupefyin’ Jones: A walking aphrodisiac; Stupefyin’ was stunning – literally. So drop-dead gorgeous that any male who glimpsed her froze petrified in his tracks, rooted to the spot – in a word, stupefied! Statuesque actress Julie Newmar became famous overnight for playing the small role in the 1956 Li’l Abner Broadway musical (and the 1959 film adaptation) without uttering a single line. While she was generally favored by the males of Dogpatch, she could be deadly for a confirmed bachelor to encounter on Sadie Hawkins Day.
@Don Lil’ Abner reference ok =) (Tho, c’mon, schtupping is funny too =D )
