In need of more comics goodness? Then check out my two other webcomcis, each running 3-times weekly, at Roddenberry.com!

OK, why does the boy in GENE’S JOURNAL (Gene R.?) look like a young Bill in modern clothes? For that matter, why does Bill look like a buffed-up version of that STAR TREK fanatic in THE TREK LIFE (and Gene look like a younger version of the same guy)? It’s like you work for Pixar. man; they keep using the same voice actor in every movie.
Nice quips in recent strips about Captain Kirk’s and the ENTERPRISE’s home turf in Riverside, Iowa. Now you have me wanting to pull out my STAR TREK DVD and watch it all over again.
Dude, it’s called ARTISTIC LICENSE! That’s how Dave draws, and dammit, it’s gotta be good if you keep reading it!
And BTW, that would be John Ratzenberger doing a voice in every Pixar project; they consider him their “good luck charm”. So there!
All in good fun, Nicholas Roche, all in good fun!
And of course, morbid curiosity.
I couldn’t remember John R.’s name (and I was too lazy to dig it up), but you reminded me of why they use him. Besides, I admire him to death. He’s a first-class character actor.
