Maybe what Vasheeva saw in Bill was his lack of hidden depths. No chance of anything nasty bubbling up at an unexpected time — apart from the barbarian rages and his personal peccadillos, anyway.

Ruben – Yes, those are smurf hats in the crowd. Does anyone recognize any other hats in the crowd?
I think I see the point of a gnome hat (though it would belong to a very tall gnome) and that also looks like Jonah Hex’s hat in there, too.

I think the gnome is the small point on the top right of the first row and is that Shrek or another ogre in the bottom row on the far right? Also I think thats Elmer Fudd’s magic helmet middle row far left. The rest I dont know

The Ballad of Vorik and Vasheeva or Jed Clampett!?
Vorik’s look in panel 1 is rather creepy. He was a bad seed from the beginning (..?). I smell dark magics to charm & manipulate both king and maiden to engineer the marriage for a power play. Either by Vorik or through Vorik. This portion of the story arc could well be entitled “The Betrayal of Vasheeva,” I will hazard a guess.
Sorry for the spoiler, folks, but Bill will end the quest by using his clerking skills to serve divorce papers upon the Underlord, thus shattering his power to hold the kingdom via proxy marriage.
It could happen …
Wizard’s hat @front & left. If so, suggesting his more in-depth knowledge of the situation (former Court Mage?) and critical significance for the wand that Bill is carrying on himself. Somewhere. No, I do _not_ want to imagine _where_ ..!
“Cowboy” (?) hat center, I’m missing the significance. Gnome to the front and far right. Visiting dignitary for his people of some sort? If Shrek was there, he’d be far right and to the back … but not tall & massive enough.

Um, heh heh… I didn’t realize I left BOTH moons in there, LOL. I originally drew the moon small (as was seen) but then changed it for effect to the large one you see here, and forgot to get rid of the small one and didn;t catch it ’til 3X said something! Sorry, 3X and Insectoid! There is only 1 moon! (and there is no spoon)
First, one must realize that there is no moon …
You should’a just left ‘em both in and called it a Really Cool Feature. You can still do it, if you wish. I won’t tell. Consider that you can have not only twice the number of werecreatures, but that on some cojuntions of double full moons they will be exceptionally active.

I do see a gnome hat to the right of the taller pointy hat.
But this is getting quite interesting. Shame it’s probably going in one ear and out the other with Bill, while Gina isn’t getting told diddly by her companion.
