I’m proud to announce today that I have a “good girl” pinup (yes, this officially makes me a “good girl pinup artist.”
) in “The Good Girl Art Library: Dan DeCarlo’s Jetta“, (my page can be seen above) a collection by the great Craig Yoe celebrating one of Dan DeCarlo’s pre-Archie comics characters, “Jetta!” In this collection are many wonderful ARTISTS, including some of my favorites, Bill Morrison (Simpsons Artist), Craig McCracken (Creator of Powerpuff Girls, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends), Jay Stephens (creator of the Secret Saturdays, Tutenstein, Land of Nod), Katie Rice (co-creator of Skadi of Dumm Comics, storyboard artist), Molly Crabapple (creator of Dr. Sketchy’s, and awesome artist/illustrator), Stephen Silver (great Disney character designer for Kim Possible among many others) and Dean Yeagle (creator of Mandy, great Playboy cartoonist) among many more. I’m proud to be among them!

Leapin’ electrodes! That’s a blast from the past. Your pin-up is, indeed, that of a good girl (note the locked knees). You’ve definitely captured the look of pin-ups from the golden age with the simplified, deco background.
I’m not sure you captured the “come hither” expression of most pin-up girls but this is fun to look at anyway.
Pin-up style? Check. Come-hither-expression? Check. “Good girl”? Uh, don’t get me started. (I MIGHT send a private opinion…)
