News Item: For awhile now, behind the scenes, a re-design of LegendofBill.com has been taking place… a design that will turn LoB into a double-dose of awesome. I’m ITCHING to show you this… and soon, verrrry soon, it shall be… OMG, just you WAIT ’til you see this!! It really brings the world of LoB into full force. I about fell out of my chair when I saw the latest update.
More soon!
I’m seriously considering publishing a comic book format “Legend of Bill sketchbook,” compiling a TON of my sketchbook sketches in a black and white book, including uncensored versions of some sketches as well as some never-before seen stuff. I wanna gage your interest… interested? I would have this book COMPLETED before it goes up for sale (unlike, um, the first LoB book). SOunds off and let me know what you think!

The LoB FORUM is fully operational – try it again and join us!
by David Reddick on March 8th, 2010OK! The FORUM is working now! We had some issues with a patch on the LoB Forums reboot – but they are working now perfectly. Please jump in and let’s chat all things LoB (or whatever you want). Let’s DO THIS!! For starters – Bill’s Horse Naming Contest will soon begin there – simply create a login and click the activation e-mail and you are in!
Sometimes a panel with small detail can get lost in the pixels (whereas it’s seen clearly in print), so I am posting a closer, enlarged look at panel 2… as yes, it was FUN to draw. (and see below for the pencil and ink stage)
And as ever, I want to acknowledge Don’s excellent coloring work. The man has skillz, and I’m thankful to have him on team LoB!
(Don, like me, is a Dork Tower fanboy too!) And now you can see Larry the Seagull from Robot Beach better!
And someone needs to put up curtains on the ladies room window. Ah, those crazy medieval times!
A behind-the-scenes look at the making of panel 2!
First the pencils and planning…
Then the inking… and of course, the final product above with the help of Don Kuehn, LoB colorist extraordinaire!
