David is adding more articulation to his characters' hands and fingers than he used to. Look at the characters in this strip and then look at the banner above. Look at the earlier strips again. Most characters' hands could be mistaken for Frank's ears in the earlier work. Now, we are seeing more expressive hands--an advancement in body language that I approve. After reading LOB Vol. 1, I’ve noticed something. David is adding more articulation to his characters’ hands and fingers than he used to.
