There is an invisible war going on without our knowledge. A battle being waged between our government and an alien empire bent on enslaving our entire species. It is a fight that we are losing and our only hope is a super-human military force known as THE MAJESTIC-XII.

I read this Government/Superhero/Secret Alien Empire/action/conspiracy book and loved it. I love seeing fellow comic creators making some waves with their own creation. The writing is rather epic in scale and promises lots of great action and intrigue to come, and Justin’s writing is very clean and he adds in some very promising character development with the myriad of characters he’s created.
Art duties go to Andrew Killian, who’s got a crisp line, clean design sense, and has a way with anatomy. Andrew’s art is akin, for me, to some of the early Image comics pencillers/Inkers, and one of my fave things about Andrew’s characters is his way with not only anatomy, but facial expressions, which adds a lot of life to them for this reader.
Omi Remalante Jr.’s colors are outstanding, btw. Good balance and contrast all ’round.
Overall, a fun, dramatic (with some humorous character development tossed in at the right times) and immersive read – I look forward to issue 2!
