Taking a small break from the current Bill/Frank guest-cartoonist storyline, let’s catch up briefly with the Dark Queen Vasheeva and Princess Gina to see what’s happening there… (Ok, I’ve been itching, and I mean ITCHING to get back to the strip, so, forgive me for indulging myself in the middle of a storyline that landed in the, um, MIDDLE of another storyline!) and then Thursday, back to Bill and Frank as they complete their 10-part quest, brought to us by our awesome guest cartoonists, who I’ve been enjoying immensely! We’ll still finish out the guest story arc, have some great guest strips coming up, and then I’m back at the wheel, and I am SO ready. I have some other FANTASTIC guest strips from some other great cartoonists outside the guest story arc, that I will intersperse here and there, perhaps even in a 3 a week way or something. Still thinking on that. Either way, GAWD it felt good to draw LoB. Seems like it’s been forever. But I’ve gotten so much done, a good investement of time for LoBs future.

I am really enjoying the guest strips as well. It is fun to see everyone’s individual take on the universe of LOB. Great to see an artist sharing his material so freely. This is a fun comic to follow for sure!
i love getting back to the comic. the guest strips are well drawn, but this story arc is…not in line with the characters. i know i said it already, and i don’t mean to be obnoxious, but if the writer wants to try again in the future, as a writer and editor i suggest he reads through the comic again before putting pen to the page as it were. good talent like this should be well used.
