A few shots of a Legend of Bill comic strip in progress… the initial VERY rough stage (stick figures!), and the sketchy phase before inking… and of course the final strip!
I always enjoy seeing process stuff. It’s interesting that the text goes in last. How do you figure out what is going to be said? Do you have a script of some sort that you sometimes have to tweak for space purposes, or do you have a loose idea of the joke and punchline and build it to fit?
Irma, you should totally do something like that. Of course, I only say that because I enjoy this stuff and apparently have no problem volunteering you for more work.
