Terrific work again, David! Now that I’m finally caught up on the strip, I can really appreciate the work you put into it! BTW, what’s the matter with the new GENE’S JOURNAL strip? It’s not coming up on that site.
Lucas: Thank you, man! I confess, I am quite proud of the colorful look and feel of this strip!!
Orcs: Haha … wondered if they’d slip past anyone. I LOVE hiding lil’ fun things in the artwork every now ans then (as you may have figured out)
Thomas: Yep – signed the damn thing twice and didn’t even realize it!!! Fixed it toot-sweet, tho, heh heh
Njr75003: Qapla’! Thank you for the kind words! As I’ve mentioned before, LOB is a labor of love for me, a comic I sat on for ages and wanted to do, and decided I was tired of waiting, no matter what I was busy with I was going to bring it to life, for the sheer NEED to bring it to life, so when someone says this, about the work into it, i cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you. I know my other webcomics (and print comics) compatriots out there feel exactly the same about their creations. It’s a personal thing, to be sure. And will look into the Gene’s Journal strip!
Pinkerton: HA! Yes, Wit, every barbarian knows a loin cloth is the way to go when you are chest-hairily challenged. (although all three of my chest hairs bring me closer to manhood than ever before!)
me (er, you, er, yeah, haha): Thank you, me! I mean, thank me, you. I mean…
Monsters! Or orcs? Or something! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!! AHHHH!!!
Fantastic colors!! Oh and hey! Is the background a new thing? Or have I been blind all this time??

I’m happy that you didn’t mind me pointing that up. I know that this is the kind of detail that would bug me leaving behind.
I’ve been looking around your different websites, but is there books of your work we can buy ?
Rod: Do you think Bill will get the girl, Barry?
Barry: Not unless he grows some chest hairs.
