A page in my sketchbook featuring our heroes…
I keep getting questions in my e-mails asking when I’m going to hold a contest, sooo … I am THIS close to dreaming up a contest and giving this original pencil sketch away, but what kind of contest… hmm … any ideas?

Love the horse’s expression. Contest…good idea…. maybe caption the sketch with what the horse is thinking?
Love the look on the horse’s face. It’s a bit like “Watch where you put that bloody sword, dude!”
What did you just say? You’re thinking about making a Princess Gina Look Alike Contest? Awesome idea, man! ;o)
as much as i would love to dress up like princess gina
(would she look good with a shaved head and goatee?? i could make it work.)
anyway,
it needs to be something we all can particapate in….something like….
#1 write a barbarian myth song/poem in 50 words or less about our heros.
#2 a idea for a one whole strip that puts frank as the main focus.
( general brake down of dialog and action.)
#3 make a clay model of frank and send in a picture.
then again,i’m still on for dressing up up like princess gina.
omg – these are great so far (Tyler, you rock, man) … let’s hear more!! If a contest idea grabs our collective eye, we’ll do it, and this sketch is goin’ out to someone!! (and I’ll shamelessly use the other contest ideas for FUTURE contests! Bwah-ha-har!) And all I have to say is, the first Princess Gina look-a-like photo I get (from a GIRL, that is, haha) gets a friggin’ drawing straight up aside from the contest!!!
*tyler hangs princess gina costume back in closet*
spoil sport!!
and just aftered i waxed my chest too!
WHEW! Crisis averted…
Gawd, how could I have missed so many postings in the past couple of days! I think I’m all caught up now!
And YES YES! I want to take part in a contest! I’d love to have this sketch!!!
Hmm … have you read what Tyler was offering? HAHA
I need some more ideas! This sketch is going to SOMEONE, dammit, if I have forcefeed it to you! And heck … I might even sweeten the pot with one of my books I published back in 2003 collecting my single-panel cartoons .. with a Foreword by Jim Davis (which led to my working for Garfield, no less).
